Jimbaran Beach Shopping

Where to Shop and What to Buy in Jimbaran Beach

Jimbaran offers fewer options than other tourist areas. You won’t find handicraft shops like the ones in Legian or giant department stores such as in Kuta because Jimbaran is rather set for seafood and water sport adventures.

However, you can still find some qualified stores and antique outlets in this area. Most of these shops are export-oriented and display fixed prices so this will free you from time-consuming bargaining. Jenggala Keramik is a notable island-based manufacturer of quality designer glazed ceramic and pottery items which offers workshops and retail items as well.

The items presented at the Jimbaran boutique, located deep within the shopping arcade of Jimbaran Corner, also feature heritage fabrics beyond batiks, such as a range of ikat weavings, tie-and-dye, and stitch- and-dye pieces, which are all part of the Indonesian heritage of fabrics. Golden Kirin Coffee

Golden Kirin Coffee is a specialty shop that presents a wide range of coffees and fine roasted products, as well as an array of unique coffee-related products and souvenir items. While most tour itineraries to the northern and central part of the island might include organic coffee farm tours, this coffee shop and factory is one of the very few that makes for a great coffee factory tour in the southern part of the island. Golden Kirrin Coffee offers a rich assortment of coffees and blends, from Bali’s own home grown Bali Gold Arabica, rare Peaberry Coffee and the highly prized ‘luwak’ civet cat coffees, which is also known as the world’s most expensive. The adjoining souvenir shop presents a range of coffee related items, from beans to scented candles in the shape of coffee beans. If you’ve run out of ideas for souvenirs to bring back home, these attractively-packaged coffees are an excellent option. You can also try out some of the great coffees through tasting sessions.
